The Untold Story

He saw her in the college library for the first time. She was sitting alone in a corner, reading a book. He stood there, watching her, mesmerized by her sweet face. She looked so vulnerable. He wanted to protect her from the harshness of life.
He looked up her name on Facebook and after thinking for a second, sent her a request. 3 days had gone by. No response from her.
He sent a message. No answer.
8 days. Still nothing.
He again sent a message. 5 hours later, he received a notification that she had seen his message. Oh! How excited he was! He waited and waited for her to say something but the reply never came. Did she not see how much his heart ached for her?
2 months later someone told her that she had been in a terrible accident. A car had hit her. She was in a coma. And he cried for her. He cursed the car driver. How relieved he would've felt had she talked to him, just once!
6 months had gone by and she showed no signs of recovery. He was losing his mind. He sat there, holding her hand, asking her to open her eyes. And she did! Her body started to respond. It took her an year to recover completely. He went to see her everyday. And she pushed him away.
Finally he stopped visiting her. And she cried, for she felt a little more hurt than he did. After all this while, here was a guy who actually seemed to care. But how could she trust him? How could she give him a chance? Hadn't she suffered enough already when she chose a person who seemed too good to be true? After being together for 3 years, he had called his friends one day and all of them had raped her one by one. How could she trust another guy?
Little did he know that the cruel world had done so much damage to her. She had scars that would never fade away. She wanted to trust him. But alas! She couldn't. She had already suffered much.
He said he cared for her. He knew he did. She knew he did. But how could she believe him? Although she felt happy and content when he held her hand in his, and told her he would always be there for her; but that wasn't a genuine reason to trust someone. And so she resisted him saying that she hated relationships and she hated him. With time, they grew apart, thinking that the other didn't care.
He cried for her.
She cried for him.

7th Grade

Life. A four letter word yet so complicated.
Just a while ago i was wondering about the life of 7th grade. That time the decisions were much easier than they are now.
There was a girl in my class, Deepshikha Bhati. I admired her. Not because she was my friend or something but because i loved the way she handled situations. She made it so easy to get comfortable with her.
There was one other girl, Sejal Vaishnav. She was a great friend. I still remember the time when my 9 year old cousin died & i was too shocked to cry. It was after 2 days of her death that i finally realized that she was gone, forever. While all the other friends of mine were busy trying to make me stop crying, Sejal was the one girl who went to a corner & started crying herself out. When i asked her the reason, all she said was, "i really know how u feel right now" & that was the moment i knew that she could really feel my sorrow. Sejal Vaishnav, wherever u are, just know that u are a wonderful person :)
There was another friend of mine, Navjot Kaur. Like a sister she was. I still remember the history class when Jessie ma'am was teaching & both of us were busy talking about all the crazy stuff. I Love U Navjot Kaur :') & i still remember what u said to me once "never change". Believe me, i never will.
